Luminious glow in the dark inks for Tampo/Pad printing

Hi all :)

Does anyone have any experience in using luminous or glow in the dark inks for Tampo printing? I intend to print a black polycarbonate button cap and the feedback I have had so far suggests that I can't print directly onto black, but rather onto a white background.

I would be very grateful for any tips/ink spec suggestions/experiences.

I would believe it's somewhat similar to printing color over black using the silk screen process. I have two older manuals from Pantone that have color charts for printing over black. I sent a silk screen job to a quality vendor once for a gray over black specifying the Pantone gray number and he quoted two 'prints', one was white. When I mentioned that I was using the Pantone Color and Black Selector manual he didn't know that it even existed. White under virtually any color will increase brightness.
