Hello everybody,
At the beginning I wanted to point out that I am beginning my adventure with designing.
I have problem with my project, i.e. mounting the motor(+copuling+gear) to the linear module.
I am not sure if the mounting, you can see attached (coupling adapter+gear+motor), is going to withstand. The motor's weight is 4,5kg and the rest (coupling+gear - about 1,5-2kg), the whole has length of 350mm.
I've seen constructions in which the motor is directly mounted on the module but I'm not sure what about this one. Should be any additional holding elements added?
